Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production scheduling and qualifications within designated departments.
- Ensure all job-related documentation is accurately completed to comply with customer and regulatory standards.
- Develop and adjust room schedules based on operational demands and constraints.

- Monitor daily manufacturing activities to ensure timely production of orders.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement necessary production adjustments.
Safety Leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations among all team members, exercising authority to enforce corrective actions.
- Implement safety policies as directed by management.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and enthusiasm.
- Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and report findings promptly.
- Perform regular safety inspections of work areas.
- Ensure all employees are equipped with and utilize appropriate protective gear.
- Engage in Job Hazard Analysis to identify and document safety concerns.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
- Experience with MRP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Willingness to work various shifts as needed.
Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of regulated industries, including FDA and ISO standards.
- Preferred knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes.
- Insight into world-class manufacturing practices is advantageous.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
- Visual acuity necessary for close and distance tasks.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Engineering degree is a plus.
Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a focus on planning, scheduling, and lean implementation.
