Home Care Therapist Position with Competitive Salary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Summit Home Care and Hospice. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong passion for rehabilitation and a commitment to excellence. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with patients who require physical therapy, as well as excellent communication skills and a warm, compassionate bedside manner.
Responsibilities- Administer various physical modalities to help relieve pain, improve circulation, and decrease swelling in muscles.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve well-rounded care.
- Develop and implement personalized physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation and recovery.
- Evaluate the effects of therapy treatment and communicate progress to patients and their families.
- Observe and reassess patient progress to modify plans as needed and share information with PTs.
- Ensure patients receive tailored care that meets their unique needs.
- Provide training on assistive devices, such as crutches, canes, or prosthetics.
- Record and document patient care services to track progress and inform future treatment plans.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with an associate's degree in science or applied science approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Current certification or license as required by state law.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
- Licensed driver with a reliable automobile insured according to company requirements.
The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary of $63,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life, vision, 401K, and paid time off.
