As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including MRI machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure the quality and safety of imaging services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Diagnostic Imaging.
- 2+ years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
