Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing maintenance standard operating procedures tailored to specific machinery and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and analytical skills.
  • Executing mechanical repairs with both hand and power tools.
  • Working collaboratively to resolve intricate mechanical challenges.
  • Employing preventive maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and downtime.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance or technical capacity within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    • Compressors
    • Plumbing systems, including valves and pressure regulators
    • Programmable logic controllers
  • Experience in setting up and operating:
    • Lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines
  • Capability to fabricate and repair using:
    • Welding equipment
    • Cutting torches
    • Other relevant tools
  • Skills in installing and repairing:
    • Electrical transformers
    • Wiring systems
    • Electrical and electronic components
  • Experience with forklifts and troubleshooting forklift issues.
  • A foundational understanding of the plumbing and electrical systems within a manufacturing facility.
