Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist III to join our team at Paragon Technology. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to protect sensitive information, conducting technical evaluations of IT systems, and assisting with making security improvements.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in security engineering with experience in vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, product evaluation, and security implementation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and reviewing system authorization documentation, participating in Technical Interface Meetings (TIMs), and coordinating with development Contractor security/system engineers.

The successful candidate will also possess skills in conducting Technical Reviews of development Contractor produced security deliverables, performing security activities to maintain authorization of PMO programs, and using the DOD Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security solutions to protect sensitive information
  • Conduct technical evaluations of IT systems and assist with making security improvements
  • Develop and review system authorization documentation
  • Participate in TIMs and coordinate with development Contractor security/system engineers
  • Perform security activities to maintain authorization of PMO programs
  • Use the DOD Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • IAT I, IAT II, IAM I, IAM II certifications
  • 7+ years' experience in security engineering
  • Must be a US Citizen with a DoD Secret, or higher, clearance determination

Salary

$115,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience
