Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hickory, North Carolina.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory care services for individual patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory care services, including monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment
