Welcome to WSP We are looking for a dedicated Early Career Water Resources Engineer to become part of our Northwest & Pacific District. This role offers the flexibility to work from various locations within our network. Join our Earth & Environment Team, a growing organization focused on fulfilling client needs and addressing environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling as part of the Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning initiative.
- Implement flood risk assessments utilizing software tools such as HEC-RAS and SWMM.
- Develop floodplain and watershed studies in accordance with established standards.
- Assist in field investigations and data analysis to support modeling efforts.
- Collaborate with a team on diverse water resources and environmental projects.
- Participate in training sessions and comply with company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 0-1 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficient in technical writing and relevant software applications.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to company guidelines.
