About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment and exercise instruction to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing treatment and providing exercise instruction to patients to improve their well-being and enhance their quality of life.
  • Following established plans of care and making recommendations for changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment and changes in their condition to the supervising Physical Therapist, nurse supervisor, and/or physician.
  • Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
  • Instructing patients, family members, caregivers, and other healthcare team members in areas of therapy within the scope of the Physical Therapist Assistant.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license to assist in the practice of physical therapy in MA.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
