About the Opportunity

USPI is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Tavares Surgery Center in Tavares, FL. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and monitor patients in the post-operative area, demonstrating expertise with monitoring equipment and ensuring patient safety.
  • Transport and position patients with care, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
  • Document patient care records accurately and efficiently, following established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical professionals to deliver individualized patient care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of professional school of nursing with current LPN license in the state.
  • Experience in the peri-operative setting or procedure healthcare, with demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique and working with anesthetized patients.
  • Current certification in BLS or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and medical professionals.
