Firefighter/EMT Specialist

The City of Page is seeking a highly skilled Firefighter/EMT to join our team. As a key member of our emergency response unit, you will be responsible for providing top-notch emergency medical services and fire suppression services to the community.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in emergency medical procedures, firefighting techniques, and communication skills. You will work closely with our team to respond to emergency calls, conduct fire prevention inspections, and participate in training exercises to stay up-to-date on the latest protocols and equipment.

• Provide emergency medical services, including patient assessment, treatment, and transport.
• Operate firefighting equipment, including hoses, ladders, and rescue devices.
• Conduct fire prevention inspections and pre-planning activities to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Participate in training exercises to maintain proficiency in emergency medical procedures and firefighting techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and apparatus.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Completion of Arizona Fire Fighter I & II requirements or similar course approved by the Fire Chief.
• ADHS Hazardous Materials First Responder course completion required prior to employment.
• AZ EMT-B certification with preference given to EMT-Paramedic.
• Valid State driver's license required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
