Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Snowmaker to join our team at Winter Park Resort. As a Snowmaker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the resort's snowmaking system operates efficiently and effectively, providing a world-class skiing and snowboarding experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-operation checkout and fueling of snowmobiles
  • Perform basic grooming functions, including snowmaking and snow removal
  • Operate snowmaking equipment, including snow guns and hydrants
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on snowmaking equipment
  • Collaborate with the snowmaking team to ensure efficient and effective snowmaking operations
  • Communicate with guests, supervisors, and other employees to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in snowmaking operations or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds and work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
