About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Homestead, a senior living community in Westland, MI. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping
  • Administer medications and injections as per medical charts
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to supervisors
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • Every other weekend availability
