Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals, to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation
  • Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Vocational school graduate with a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
