Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Laborer to join our team at TRAX International. As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties, including loading and unloading materials, moving supplies and equipment, and performing snow removal. You will also be responsible for operating forklifts, mechanical lift gates, and mechanical platforms to facilitate loading and unloading materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loads and unloads materials, supplies, and equipment onto and off trucks, ensuring proper padding and ropes are used to prevent damage.
  • Moves supplies and materials to proper locations using the appropriate equipment.
  • Operates forklifts, mechanical lift gates, and mechanical platforms to facilitate loading and unloading materials.
  • Performs snow removal and general maintenance duties.
  • Assists with setting up and arranging furniture, cubicles, partitions, and other office equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 17 years of age.
  • Must be able to use downtime effectively to benefit the company.
  • Must have a well-mannered customer service attitude.
  • Must be able to operate lawn care equipment, including tractors, weed eaters, edgers, hedge trimmers, push mowers, chain saws, and ride-on mowers.
  • Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
  • Must demonstrate motivation, initiative, and reliability.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and foster teamwork in a dynamic environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The General Laborer will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The position requires the ability to work outdoors for long periods and to lift 70 pounds unassisted. The General Laborer must also be able to ascend and descend equipment, including ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
