The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning, negotiating, and accomplishing goals related to zoning and permitting for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores.
Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development, and permitting of new construction for RaceTrac and RaceWay convenience stores.
\u2022 Obtains necessary permits and communicates with local government agencies as needed.
\u2022 Resolves complex technical issues and conducts research.
\u2022 Understands and recommends alterations to drawings and designs to improve quality and efficiency.
\u2022 Negotiates with the company's executive team and city council.
\u2022 Selects and manages consultants on design/entitlement teams.
Requirements:
\u2022 3-5 years of experience preferred, previous work experience in the petroleum industry a plus.
\u2022 Excellent negotiation, communication, decision-making, and public presentation skills.
\u2022 Previous managerial experience preferred.
\u2022 Previous involvement with zoning and permitting with city council preferred.
\u2022 Proficient with MS Office Suite preferred.
