We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Summit Medical Group PLLC in Chattanooga. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

About the Role

This position offers a unique chance to utilize your expertise as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary care. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

  • You will perform comprehensive physical exams, obtain medical histories, and record findings.
  • Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other relevant information.
  • Order and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures as necessary.
  • Determine preliminary diagnoses and develop therapeutic plans by analyzing data and integrating information from various sources.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on medications, treatments, and health-related topics.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
  • A minimum of three years of previous patient care experience in a clinic setting, with two years of APN or PA experience preferred.
  • CURRENT licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Tennessee, or current Physician Assistant licensure to practice in the State of Tennessee.
