About the Role

Messer North America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Travel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective diagnostics and repairs on our fleet of diesel trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on diesel trucks to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Perform corrective maintenance on diesel trucks to repair equipment upon failures
  • Manage parts inventory to minimize downtime and ensure efficient repairs
  • Collaborate with site management and local vendors to schedule equipment repairs
  • Document all work orders and repairs in our distribution business platform
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of mechanical experience or certification from a diesel mechanic trade school
  • Valid Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed
