POSITION SUMMARY:

As a vital member of our dining team, you will assist the Server in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests, in line with the high standards set by Peabody Hotels & Resorts. Your role will involve maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment. Additionally, you will ensure that all necessary items are stocked and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:
  1. Assist in providing outstanding service to guests.
  2. Ensure the dining area is clean and well-maintained.
  3. Stock and prepare service items as needed.
  4. Work collaboratively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Essential:
  1. Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
  2. Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  3. Basic arithmetic skills.
  4. Ability to:
  • Execute tasks with precision, speed, and attention to detail.
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively.
  • Maintain composure and resolve issues with sound judgment.
  • Follow instructions accurately.
  • Recognize and respond to guests' service needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues as part of a cohesive team.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate respectfully and discreetly with guests and team members.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Adhere to grooming standards as set by Peabody.
  • Exemplify the principles of Peabody Service Excellence.

Desirable:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
  2. Certification in food and beverage service.
  3. Proficiency in a second language.
  4. CPR certification.
Previous experience in guest relations is preferred.
