Admitting Representative

We are seeking a skilled Admitting Representative to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our patients.

• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve registration-related issues
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families

• Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
• National Certification of CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate)
• 3 years of experience in patient access or business office setting
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing codes
• 1 year of experience with Epic applications
