About the RoleAt Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc, we are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineering Team Lead to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide you with the opportunity to develop and lead high-performing teams and drive business success.

This position reports to the Head of Facilities Engineering and is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the technical Facilities and Plant Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, promoting growth and succession planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in BioPharma/Life Sciences engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

The estimated salary is based on the national average salary for similar positions in the United States.

Work Environment

This role is based in our San Carlos, California office and requires occasional travel to other sites.
