Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials, ensuring cleanliness, temperature control, and overall quality standards are met.
- Perform outgoing product evaluations, verifying order accuracy, box integrity, and product temperature compliance before shipment.
- Execute quality control tasks during production, including equipment calibration (thermometers, scales), monitoring metal detector functionality, and verifying critical control points (CCP).
- Assist in managing inventory and conduct daily quality checks on steak cutting to ensure optimal yield.
- Carry out quality assessments on product samples prior to dispatch to confirm adherence to specifications, packaging standards, and order accuracy.
- Facilitate employee training sessions as required.
- Compile and submit regular reports for operational and statistical analysis.
- Assess returned products for appropriate handling and disposition.

All tasks must be performed in accordance with USDA, DDA, OSHA, and local regulations, as well as company policies, including safety protocols and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP).

SUPERVISION:
· Not applicable. INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
· Collaborate with FSQA department, Warehouse, and Processing staff. Interaction with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels is essential in a professional manner.
EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
· Engage with USDA/FDA officials as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to work consistently in a refrigerated setting (35°F - 45°F) and occasionally in a freezer environment (-10°F to +10°F) with provided apparel. Overtime may be required with or without prior notice, and work concludes upon task completion.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a food production setting is required. EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory. CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING
- HACCP Certification is preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with USDA or FDA regulations is advantageous.

Compensation is influenced by experience, geographic location, and other legally permissible factors. This role is also eligible for overtime pay.
