Speech Pathologist Role at Intermountain Health

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders, consulting with caregivers and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

This position requires a master's degree, relevant licensure, and experience in acute care settings.


Responsibilities:
  • Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus may be offered for qualified candidates.


Work Details:
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week)
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in speech pathology
  • Current license to practice speech-language pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
  • At least six months of experience in the acute care setting

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods
