As a Cardiac Cath Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, positioning them on the fluoroscopy table, and monitoring their vital signs.
  • Maintain and operate complex medical equipment, such as angiography machines and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile trays and instruments, ensuring proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current professional license as required by the state.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid BLS through the American Heart Association.
  • Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions.
  • RN positions require at least one year of recent experience in specialty and a like setting.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120-$140 per hour, based on a 10-hour shift and 40 hours per week.
