The Role: We are seeking an Assistant School Coach who possesses a genuine affection for children, strong ethical standards, a sociable and professional demeanor, and a joyful spirit.

  • This position offers competitive compensation for engaging with individuals while making a meaningful contribution to the community in a fun atmosphere.
  • Instruct and mentor children in chess by adhering to our nationally recognized curriculum, guiding them from the basics to advanced strategies.

Work Schedule: You can select from 1 to 5 weekday afternoons, with 2-hour shifts available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Adhere to our classroom management protocols.
  • Consistently promote good sportsmanship, teaching children to win and lose graciously.
  • Utilize provided video lessons and presentations to foster an engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Ensure the classroom is left in better condition than it was found.
