Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: X-Ray Technician (Radiology / Cardiology)

Job Details:

Job Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00), every 3rd weekend, holidays as assigned

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; large hospital and Level I/II trauma experience required
License: Ohio Radiologic License
Certifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS Certification

Must-Have: Strong OR experience

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with a team of technologists in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Cover Emergency Department, Operating Room, Trauma Bay, and Inpatient as well as general X-ray needs
  • Utilize Toshiba and GE scanners
  • Use Radiant for Radiology Information System/EMR and Fuji PACS
  • Meet the requirement of the traveler's permanent address being greater than 100 miles from the central facility location
  • 16 hours of non-billable orientation
  • Adhere to compliance and background policy
  • Be prepared for immediate termination upon the occurrence of more than one call-off or NCNS (No Call No Show)
