The VA Nebraska Western-Iowa Health Care System and Omaha VA Medical Center in Omaha, NE is seeking a skilled and dedicated Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive General Cardiologist to join our multidisciplinary Medicine Service Line Team. Additional training and experience in echocardiography and heart failure are desired but not required for consideration. The selected physician will practice in both outpatient (80%) and inpatient (20%) direct care settings and should demonstrate exceptional clinical cardiology skills and a passion for teaching and scholarship. The Omaha VAMC is an acute care 100-bed tertiary care facility, providing inpatient, medical, surgical, and psychiatric care, in addition to its ambulatory care services and home to major clinical research programs, is academically affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Nebraska.
Requirements:- Must be a U.S. citizen (non-citizens may be considered)
- Must have a current active U.S. state medical license (any state)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology specialty preferred
