We are seeking an experienced Semi Service Technician to support the growth of our Semi Service Program. If you have a passion for heavy duty trucking and a desire to take your career to the next level, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside our Engineering and Development teams to provide direct product feedback
  • Be part of the first heavy duty commercial Semi Service technicians in the field, setting the standard and providing feedback on tooling and utilization
  • Support the Tesla Semi Fleet, moving Tesla cargo between our own factories
  • Support Tesla Heavy Service Centers and our first customers, repairing their fleets as needed
  • Travel to customers and work alongside their technicians in their workshops
  • Create and maintain repair instructions for use by anyone servicing a Tesla Semi
  • Support customer charging concerns as needed
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required, with ability to obtain and maintain a CDL
  • Fluent in diagnosis and troubleshooting of heavy vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
  • Ability to innovate, solve complex issues, and present new ideas, with excellent commercial customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
