We are seeking a highly skilled Multimodality Tech CT Nuc Med to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Select and operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic CT and nuclear medicine examinations, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for patients.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as needed to ensure modesty and safety.
- Document all relevant clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system.
- Remain up-to-date with software protocols and changes in the field, attending courses or seminars as necessary to maintain proficiency.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent cross-contamination.
- Be available for on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide exceptional patient care.
- Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited institution.
- Valid ARRT certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting of patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
