As our Repair Tech (Guitar), you will provide exceptional maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory, building business through great customer experiences and quality work.

A few key characteristics for successful Repair Technicians include:

  • Customer Focus: Understanding customer service principles, providing excellent customer experiences, connecting with customers, being approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
  • Initiative: Identifying opportunities and issues, following through on work activities to capitalize or resolve them, learning quickly, taking positive action without being requested, developing knowledge and skills including product, store operations, sales, and leadership.

Selling:

You will work through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques. Training:

Able to effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.

As our Repair Technician, you will:

Interact with customers, ensuring a positive customer experience

Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship

Maintain store owned gear, as requested

Complete warranty repair work

Additional duties as assigned

Estimated salary range is $45,000-$65,000 annually, based on location and experience.

Skilled understanding of repairing Guitars

Preferences:

Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products
