As a vital member of the Cimtech Inc. family, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a dedicated Utility/Assembly/Parts Production Specialist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to enhance their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to transport materials to designated areas.
- Assist in various assembly projects as required.
- Manage the operation of stretch wrap banders.
- Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments, addressing any damaged items and coordinating with shippers to resolve issues.
- Process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
- Utilize computer systems to track goods and adhere to quality protocols.
- Support the shipment of produced goods and manage incoming supplies essential for production.
- Report any defective materials or concerns to the department supervisor.
- Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly, following safety regulations.
- Occasionally make pickups and deliveries to suppliers using a company vehicle.
- Ensure the company vehicle is maintained in safe operating condition.
Qualifications:
- A reliable team player with a willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing team.
- Prior experience in assembly is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs safely and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Must be willing to follow established processes and procedures.
- Openness to becoming forklift certified and cross-trained in various roles.
