Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cashier/Host to join our team at WinStar World Casino's Gran Via Buffet. As a Cashier/Host, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service by accurately and efficiently processing food and beverage purchases and seating guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process food and beverage orders and purchases through the Point of Sale (POS) System.
  • Maintain the accountability and security of your individual cash drawer.
  • Seat guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock and clean your workstation/venue to ensure presentable products.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, and others in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Must obtain a valid gaming license from the Gaming Commission prior to beginning work and have the license renewed as mandated by the Gaming Commission.
