Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience at North Country Family Health Center. As the first point of contact, this individual will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient flow, and handle various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Collect co-payments, sliding fees, and outstanding balances, maintaining accurate records and communicating with patients as needed.
  • Assist patients with insurance and payment responsibilities, answering questions and providing guidance.
  • Answer phones, direct inquiries, and respond to patient concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree or certification in office studies, business administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in the field, which may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency with computers and computer applications.
  • Attention to detail and problem-resolution skills.
  • A positive attitude, high energy, and adaptability to change.
