About the Role

In this role as an X86 Systems Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support for our customers in the enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, including hands-on experience with servers (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP), solid hardware system diagnostics skills, and strong technical communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Resolving complex technical problems on Supermicro equipment in an enterprise environment
  • Managing repair/parts cycle times and ensuring customer satisfaction through service excellence
  • Leading investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in field support servicing complex X86 systems and parts preferred
  • Hands-on experience with servers (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP)
  • Good understanding of how BIOS, drivers, and application loads can cause system issues
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Full professional proficiency in English (read/write/speak)
