Position: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Type: Part-time
Compensation: $21 per hour

About 1st Americare: We are committed to delivering outstanding support to individuals requiring assistance, especially those dealing with conditions such as Alzheimer's and similar challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients with daily living activities.
  • Offer reminders and help with medication.
  • Assist with mobility and transitions.
  • Provide companionship and emotional care.
  • Help with light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Home Health Aide or CNA certification is mandatory.
  • BLS or CPR certification is essential.
  • Experience in elderly home care is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Alzheimer's disease and related conditions is preferred.
  • Capability to assist with mobility challenges and pain management.
  • Empathetic nature and strong communication abilities.
Work Schedule:
  • Two shifts of 6 hours each per week.
  • Totaling 12 hours weekly.
