Responsibilities- Payroll & Effort; Allocation Management: Collaborate with project managers, HR, and stakeholders to ensure accurate recording of payroll expenses and effort allocations for each grant. Perform manual adjustments to financial data and conduct comprehensive reviews to ensure compliance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and generate insightful reports on spending, commitments, and project progress. Present findings to stakeholders and management.
- Subject Matter Expertise & Process Improvement: Work extensively in PeopleSoft HCM and Finance modules, as well as the Huron Effort Certification system, to develop queries, reports, and business-critical processes. Contribute to system and process development and improvement discussion, planning, and testing.
- Audits & Special Projects: Interact with Principal Investigators, Department Administrators, and provide analytical support to CNRI post-award financial management teams and leadership. Prepare meeting agendas and run meetings where necessary.
