Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Governance Specialist to join our Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading the development and management of various security governance, risk, and compliance functions, ensuring the protection of our customers' data and the integrity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security policies and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to protect our customers' data and our operations.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage the development and implementation of security compliance programs for industry frameworks such as SOX, AICPA, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the implementation of security requirements and controls across our infrastructure and third-party SaaS solutions.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members and company users on security best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 8+ years of technical professional experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or security governance.
  • Extensive experience in assessing the effectiveness of information security controls and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-accepted information security frameworks and regulations.
  • Experience with public cloud hosting providers and third-party tooling platforms.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders.
