Grant Writer

Job Summary:

Native American Connections is seeking a highly skilled Grant Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying new funding opportunities, developing and writing grant proposals, and coordinating all aspects of grant writing.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and identify new funding opportunities from government agencies, corporations, and foundations
Develop and write grant proposals that meet the organization's goals and objectives
Coordinate all aspects of grant writing, including reviewing requests for proposal (RFPs) and preparing budgets and expenditure reports
Work with program staff and senior leadership to collect and synthesize data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on the organization's programs and program needs
Assist with communicating grant information to executive management, key community organizations, and the public

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public health, or related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in grant writing and prospect research for a non-profit health and human services organization
Ability to demonstrate a successful track record of funded proposals
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
Knowledge of Native American Connections and the target population served
