Position Summary: We are looking for a committed Healthcare Assistant to become part of our vibrant team. This position involves supporting front desk operations, assisting our nurse practitioner, and working alongside our rehabilitation team to ensure the highest quality of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in holistic and integrative medicine and a dedication to patient empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient examinations and treatments under the guidance of a nurse practitioner.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and managing billing and coding for insurance purposes.
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist during physical therapy and rehabilitation sessions.
- Provide information to patients by addressing inquiries and requests under the supervision of medical staff.
- Enhance the practice's reputation by taking ownership of new and diverse requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualifications:
- Preferred certification as a Healthcare Assistant.
- Demonstrated experience in a medical front office environment.
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
