BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Allentown, PA. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric clients in senior living facilities throughout Lehigh County, PA.
Responsibilities- Conduct home visits to assess clients' physical needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate clients' mobility, strength, and balance.
- Implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote clients' health and independence.
- Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for optimal health.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
- A current PA Physical Therapist license.
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
