Graduate Researcher ProgramThe Graduate Researcher Program (GRP) is a unique 10-12 week internship program designed specifically for students pursuing their PhD. This program provides a valuable opportunity to gain deeper experience at Boeing and with our assigned team, while also utilizing academic skills and expertise to help solve real-world industry challenges and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analysis of ceramic matrix composite (CMC) structures
- Thermo/structural FEA modeling and simulation
- Structural textile design and modeling for composites
- Damage and damage progression modeling in ceramic and/or polymer composites
- Completed the first year of PhD studies by July 2025
- Pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Material Science or Related field
- Experience with engineering and design software such as MatLab, Finite Element Analysis (Abaqus, LS-Dyna, etc.), COMSOL, CAD/3D packages (NX, CATIA, etc.)
