Job Summary

The Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership (CVNL) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Court Referral Program. As the Court Referral Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the program's daily operations, developing and implementing strategies to improve client outcomes, and building strong partnerships with community agencies and court personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Court Referral staff
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with community agencies and court personnel
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with organizational and governmental/public partners and nonprofit agencies
  • Facilitate communication with constituents (judges, diversion, city, county departments, chamber of commerce, CLASP, etc.) to ensure efficient practices and fairness to our clients
  • Prepare and facilitate annual contract renewal
  • Oversee and update, practice, and evaluate all quality assurance practices in accordance with contract requirements
  • Prepare and monitor budget and contract compliance
  • Gather, analyze, and report monthly, mid-year, and end of fiscal year statistical data
  • Attend and contribute to off-site meetings hosted by court, county, and agency partners
  • Create plans and set objectives toward contract goals and successful outcomes
  • Use evidence-based practices to reach desired contract outcomes
  • Ensure policy and procedures are adhered to in order to limit liability to volunteer placement host organizations and CVNL partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice or related field
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
  • Three years supervisory experience
  • Two years direct client work experience
  • Successfully pass the Sonoma County Probation clearance and Superior Court clearance (required to have access to confidential records)
  • Ability to work in person at the Santa Rosa office during regular business hours
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with people of all ages from a wide variety of backgrounds
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technology skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Filemaker Pro, MS Excel, Salesforce or similar CRM database
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting statistical data
  • Connections and familiarity with North Bay communities and nonprofits agencies
  • Experience with conflict management and de-escalation strategies
  • Ability to understand and implement successful strategies to ensure efficient work processes
  • Highly communicative and transparent leadership style
  • Ability to handle supervisory responsibilities with a high degree of professional standards and maintain a friendly, productive team environment

Compensation

The budgeted starting salary that CVNL reasonably expects to pay is $71,000-82,000 annually depending on prior experience. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and external market comparisons for similar positions in similar geographic locations and size. Offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
