Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Colorectal Surgery & Urology Unit. The successful candidate will have expertise in caring for patients with colorectal and urologic surgery needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage patient care needs, focusing on progress toward discharge
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, documenting treatment as required
  • Evaluate patient responses to care rendered and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree)
  • Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
