About the Role

Gator's Dockside Restaurants is seeking a highly skilled Food Runner/Expo to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our food is delivered to their tables in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately
  • Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
  • Communicate food orders to cooks, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
  • Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
  • Remove dirty dishes and utensils
  • Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items
  • Inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check)
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire
  • Work Authorization - United States
