Job Description:
Civil Engineer Manager
The City of Bend, OR is seeking a Civil Engineer Manager to oversee the engineering component of private development projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 9+ years of experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate activities related to the engineering component of private development projects
- Administer and provide interpretations of the City's Standards and Specifications as it relates to private development
- Make final decisions on engineering plans associated with private development proposals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 9+ years of experience in a similar position
- 4-6 years of managerial experience
- Certification as a Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon required or ability to acquire within six months of appointment
