We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering CAD Design Technician to join our Water Resources Engineering Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects related to water resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop sound engineering project designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and apply CAD software to create technical drawings and designs.
  • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop detailed engineering drawings, including process survey data, plan sheets, grading plans, surfaces, volume analysis, alignments, profiles, cross sections, and details.
  • Maintain organized records of project files, drawings, and revisions.
  • Coordinate with teams, including project managers, surveyors, and engineers.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in CAD technology and software.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
  • A drafting or engineering degree is preferred, along with 5+ years' experience working in the engineering industry on civil projects.
