Job Overview

Tradeco of Knoxville is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for assembling and installing machines, ensuring they are functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install machines, testing them to ensure proper operation
  • Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage the layout and placement of equipment and machinery to minimize downtime
  • Identify and repair problematic machine parts, making temporary repairs or installing new components
  • Dismantle and replace older machines with new ones
  • Perform preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn-out parts, and lubricating mechanical components
  • Operate machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts
