Job Responsibilities
The Clinical Nutrition Specialist is accountable for overseeing patients' medical nutrition therapy in alignment with the clinical practice standards approved by the medical staff within the outpatient environment. This role also serves as a vital resource for nutrition education.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics (Required). Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required, along with Registered Dietician (RD) and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certifications from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
