Key Responsibilities- Escort patients to and from exam rooms and prepare them for physicians
- Take vital signs, record medical history/symptoms, and ensure medical chart/lab test results are available and complete
- Perform telephone triage, patient education, and handle physician phone calls, pharmacy calls
- Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed, and record and document all such activities in the chart
- Assist physicians with procedures as necessary, and complete paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, etc.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns as liaison between physician and patient, and report all test results to the patient as directed by the physician
- Current IL RN licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current CPR certification
- Prefer a minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting, but may consider new grad under specific circumstances
