Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide/Direct Support Professional will provide support to clients with disabilities, mental illness and behavior management. This role requires a compassionate individual who can foster positive relationships between caretakers and clients served.

About the Job

This is a full-time or part-time position available in a group home setting, where you will be responsible for providing direct care to individuals with mental needs. Your duties will include:

  • Personal Care Tasks: Assist clients with basic personal hygiene, grooming, medical monitoring, and health-related tasks.
  • Client Safety: Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment at all times.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind and assist clients with self-administration of medications.
  • Communication: Report changes in client condition or family situation to administrators and supervisors.
  • Daily Activities: Document daily activities and services provided.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also perform home management functions such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning. Effective communication with clients and staff is essential for this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $15.00-$17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Available shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. We prioritize a healthy work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling options.
