Job Summary

The Salvation Army Central Territory is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team. As a Donation Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our donation center, providing exceptional customer service to donors, and maintaining a clean and organized donation area.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  • Provide a professional and welcoming experience for donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Respond to donor inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
• Donation Processing
  • Receive and process donations in accordance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.
  • Sort and categorize donations for proper handling and distribution.
• Facility Maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized donation area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for donors and staff.
  • Report any facility issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Teamwork and Communication
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with donors, staff, and management to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Availability
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including early shifts, late shifts, and weekends.
• Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
